Delicate-363

Butterflies are so delicate and beautiful but yet seem so strong and self assured. I have never really gotten a decent shot of a butterfly, until now. Especially one as nice as this one. This is a Gulf Fritillary Butterfly.

This shot is much more than "decent".

Excellent is more like it.

Very nice.

Beautiful!! And extra points for actually knowing the name of the butterfly. :) I tend to go "oh, J look, what a beautifull yellow butterfly..." when I am out with the children.

Butterflies seem to be the subject du jour at the moment - and they're all great! As Mia said, bonus point for knowing the name, and you got a great close up of it!

Oh, I bet you are really happy with that one. The colours are simply stunning.

Another favourite shot.

Quite a stunning shot, Deb! You captured great detail and the vivid color of the flower really adds to the overall image...

Such a great shot! I love the sharp focus on the subject, and the beautiful blurred background. Nicely done.
