This is the historic Capital Theater in Downtown Maryville. It was built around 1922 and was a popular gathering spot for many years. My Dad was watching a movie here in 1940 when they came to tell him that his father had died. He was 14. The theater closed for several years and re-opened a couple of years ago with one of the original marquee's out front. The theater is now used as an Art Gallery by it's owner, a coffee shop and leased out for parties and social events.
