The sky tonight was truly magical. There was an approaching thunderstorm and with the sun behind that cloud it created a halo effect that was awesome. The shot looks manufactured I know, but it is genuine.
That's a wonderful photo!! The sky can really put on a show if you watch it every now and then.
I am Mia, I just realized, I have missed you this far in the 366 challenge *I don't know how I managed this!*. I am also doing the challenge and I have linked to your blog from mine.
Deb, It's the middle of the year already, and, as a way to celebrate, I am inviting each of you 366-ers to prepare a post featuring your own five favorite images you've posted during the first six months of this 366 challenge. I've been amazed at some of the photography you all have posted, and am looking forward to seeing which ones you pick out as your own favorites.
After selecting your five favorites, re-post them on any day between now and 6/30, all in a single post, titled "My Favorites - First 6 Months." Indicate whether or not you'd like feedback.
To make your five stay at the top of your blog, first publish your post with the current date and time. This will make it appear on your blog. Then, edit the post to change the date in "Post Options" to a future date ... say July 6 ... and publish it again. I'll try to post mine soon, to use as a model.
Welcome to Deb Campbell Photography Blog. On this site I plan to share an image a day with a story to go along with it. I hope you visit my new website at: DebCampbellPhoto.com

Been off of this blog thing for almost a year. After I finished the 365 challenge I sort of got burned out and then just forgot about it.
So, now I'm back. If you've searched my name, you've found this blog and are possibly interested in what I have to offer. Well, mostly what I have is my photography. So that is what I will share here. Probably an image a day (or week)and possibly a story to go along with it. I have been incredibly busy out photographing over the last several months, so lord knows I have a lot of images to share.
I have a new website where photos are available for sale. If you enjoy a photo or two a day from me, perhaps you'd like to see more. So visit my site at www.debcampbellphoto.com or my flickr site.

That is an amazing sky! Great job capturing it so well.
Oh, Deb, that is awesome! It's "magical" indeed! You should frame that one and put it on your wall.
