This is a close-up of the feathers on a "white-winged dove" I saw in Texas. I always thought doves were all the same, but found out they are not. This one had a blue ring around his eyes. It was a really windy day and he sat low on a branch and posed for a long time. I liked the way the wind ruffled his feathers up around him.
