Here is my diary/journal. I started when my son was a baby and I used to write in it almost everyday. My plan WAS to create this journal for the kids to have when I'm too old to recall all the cute things they did. As the kids got older I began to write less frequently, but I still would catch up on things from time to time. When I got this out for the picture, I turned to the last entry. That was 2003! Guess I got a lot of catching up to do. I am thankful for the years that I did keep it up. I read some things that I had already forgotten.

It's great that your kids will have this, even if you didn't keep it quite regularly. It made for a wonderful picture too. Nice use of depth of field...

It's definitely something I'm sure your kids will treasure when they're older - and better to have something with gaps, than nothing at all! Great photo of this too.
